Membership The World Martial Arts Games Committee (WMAGC) was founded in August 2005. Up until the 2nd annual meeting which took place on July 29, 2007 in Regensburg, Germany, the WMAGC consisted of 41 National members. During the 2nd Annual Meeting, it was decided that the WMAGC needed to become more open to the influence and association of other organizations that shared our vision. At the same time it was determined that our NMAGC’s needed to have a particular structure and a mandate that would see our vision for a united martial arts world duplicated in every country around the world. As a result, the WMAGC has created a Membership structure that will address all potential members, as well as provide direction and support to our National WMAG Directors in their development of maintenance of the NMAGC in their country. WMAGC membership is open to any national and international body working in the field of Sport for All and in particular Martial Art Sport for All. It is the sole right of the WMAGC General Assembly to approve the entry of new members. Consequently, applications for new members must be sent to the WMAGC Secretary General no less than 90 days prior to the date of the next General Assembly. MEMBERSHIP FEES Due to the decision of the General Assembly there are three types of membership fees: NMAGC - Approved National Martial Arts Games Committee Members which have complied with all the requirements set out in the National Martial Arts Games Committee Compliance Agreement and approved by the WMAGC Member Compliance Committee. The final approval of an NMAGC is given by WMAGC General Assembly. There will be only one NMAGC per country.
NMAGCIP - National Martial Arts Games Committee (NMAGCIP) Members who are in the process of meeting the step by step requirements of an NMAGC, but have not yet received approval from the WMAGC Member Compliance Committee or WMAGC General Assembly.
Active Members – International Martial Arts or Sport Organizations who have met the requirements of the WMAGC member Compliance Committee. The final approval of an Active Member is given by the WMAGC General Assembly.
Supporting Members – Those members who support WMAGC goals, but who do not require or have not yet received approval for Active membership from the WMAGC Member Compliance Committee or WMAGC General Assembly.
