Hall of Fame

The World Martial Arts Games Hall of Fame was established to provide recognition for those individuals, country members and athletes that make significant contributions to the World Martial Arts Games Movement and the celebration of all martial arts disciplines worldwide. Current Hall of Fame categories are as follows:

Founding Individuals as at November 30, 2005
Founding Member Nations as At July 15, 2006

Founding Individuals

The World Martial Arts Games Movement was formed in August 2005. In order to be recognized as a Founder, members were required to make a financial commitment to provide the seed capital for setting up the non-profit organization and organizing the 1st World Martial Arts Games. The deadline for this commitment was November 30, 2005. The recognized WMAGM Founders are as follows:

Founding Member Nations

In order to be recognized as a Founding Nation, country representatives were required to register as a WMAG National Member before May 31, 2006 and must be confirmed and registered to be bringing a National Team to the 2006 World Martial Arts Games in Victoria, Canada by July 15, 2006. The recognized Founding Nations of the World Martial Arts Games Movement and the National Directors are as follows:
